yes - i was going back and forth between sketch up and revit for a bit, then just decided to go all revit. i'm going to be working on this some more, its just an initial rendering at this point.
Theres a setting in Revit that allows you to tell the rendering where the location is and what date. I set it for winter equinox and for Alaska, with a hazy day (typically what its like in winter), with clouds, and this is how it comes out. It actually looks pretty close to this with the sun barely coming over the horizon several months in the winter. The sun plays peek-a-boo during the day, but shows light just like this around 10 am and about 4pm.
Looking good, did you end up doing these in Revit?
