Should I entitle this "Disconnected Pedestrian" or "Isolated Pedestrian"? This is the page I just created to go at the beginning of my "The Solution" chapter. This page starts before all the precedents are shown. Does this connect the concept better so its not such a blunt start?

Track Images
Hey Susan;
Check out my google docs:
I spent a little time on these images tonight - I took Herb's advice and took photos of a real life working track, then did a photo montage on top of the photo to try to get the concept of the designed track above Wal Mart across. Can you take a look at this and tell me if you think I need to use both photos or just the one that I've manipulated? My text coincides with using both, but I can change that if needed. I just need to denote and add the floor plan and I'll be finished with design of this portion of the circuit. Any other thoughts on this spread?
Thanks.

Bridge Clearances for Sky Circuit
For almost 30 years, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Military Traffic Management Command Transportation Engineering Agency (MTMCTEA) of the Department of Defense (DOD) have cooperated to meet the demands of military traffic on the Interstate System, particularly in the area of vertical clearances. This need has been met with the adoption of standards by FHWA for vertical clearance on the Interstate that require a clear height of structures over the entire roadway width, including the useable width of shoulder, of 4.9 meters for the rural Interstate. In urban areas, the 4.9-meter clearance is applied to a single route, with other Interstate routings in the urban area having at least a 4.3-meter vertical clearance.
Found this official information here:
http://www.fhwa.dot.gov/bridge/081597.htm
This means that any skyway pathing shall be a 4.3 meter clearance. Translated, this is a vertical clearance of 14'-2".
